Slide Rule in RealBasic

This documentation covers the Slide Rule in RealBasic program. Slide Rule is program that displays a slide rule and allows its manipulation.

Slide Rule is provided as free software under the GNU Public License. Both the binary RealBasic project file and an XML dump (which includes full source) are provided as part of the distribution. RealBasic can be obtained from the Real Software site.

Installation

Installation: just copy the

• OS X Slide Rule and images-pict,
• OS9 Slide Rule.9 and images-pict,
• Windows Slide Rule.exe and images-bmp,
• or Linux SlideRule.L and images-bmp

items somewhere convenient and run the Slide Rule application. On Macintosh systems, be sure to use the Finder (or equvalent tool) for the copying. On Linux, run the program as:

• ./SlideRule.L &
